We recently had the opportunity to eat at the Stockyard Grill. Although its not on our side of town, we had heard very good things about it. We took the short drive to Mobile Highway and were pleased with what we found.

Luckily, we arrived on "fried chicken day". We got there around 11:15 and there was already a robust lunch traffic. You would think with the traffic "this may take a while". Not so. Our orders arrived surprisingly quickly and were hot and fresh.

Friendly is an understatement for the staff. Polite, witty and friendly to a fault, they could not have made us feel more comfortable.

With great food and a cordial staff, we our looking forward to our next visit to the Stockyard Grill.
